A new merchandise store will open by the end of 2025 next to the iconic attraction The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™ in Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris. The store will be located where the Fastpass machine for Tower of Terror used to be. Construction will begin in April 2025.
As Walt Disney Studios® Park undergoes a major transformation, the teams at Walt Disney Imagineering and Design & Delivery are working on improvements to enhance the guest experience. One of their projects is the redevelopment of the former Fastpass™ area at The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror™. This space will be completely transformed into a stylish store, fitting with the placemaking of World Premiere Plaza.
The structure of the boutique will be completely revamped both inside and out. The Imagineers have chosen a design inspired by 1930s Hollywood, so it blends harmoniously with World Premiere Plaza and the Art Deco theme of the theater district.
The store, located between the gardens of Adventure Way and The Hollywood Tower Hotel, will provide a natural transition between the two worlds. Inspired by flower shops from the 1930s, the boutique will have an authentic atmosphere with decorative elements such as floral bouquets, historical photos, and even a refrigerator like the ones used by Californian florists at the time.
Opening of the new Tower of Terror shop at the end of this year
Construction will begin in the spring of 2025, and the opening is scheduled for the end of the year. Whether it will actually open by the end of the year remains to be seen, as Disneyland Paris has a reputation for never meeting its deadlines and often taking a long time to complete even the smallest projects. A prime example of this is the covered terrace at Casey’s Corner on Main Street USA, which began over a year ago and is still not finished.
