Exciting progress is being made on the renovation of the Royal Castle Stage in Disneyland Park.
With many of the construction scaffolds now removed, guests are getting their first clear look at the transformation that took place — and the results are impressive.

One of the most notable updates is the significant expansion of the stage’s rear wall. This structural change now completely conceals the backstage staircases, allowing Disney characters and performers to wait out of sight before making their entrance. It also provides improved access to the backstage area located beneath the stage, enhancing the overall functionality of the performance space.

In addition to structural changes, the refurbishment has restored several original elements to their former glory. The iconic bronze-colored towers flanking the stage have been fully restored and are once again gleaming with renewed brilliance.

Nearby, the bridge by the Wishing Well — long closed to guests due to safety concerns — has been entirely rebuilt as part of this project. Although work on the bridge is now complete, it remains closed to the public and is expected to reopen once the Royal Castle Stage renovation is fully finalized.

While the upgraded stage is already a visual highlight, it may be some time before it hosts live entertainment again. No shows are currently scheduled in the near future. However, there is growing hope among fans that the stage could return to use during the Halloween or Christmas season later this year.

Stay tuned as we continue to follow the final stages of this enchanting makeover at the heart of Disneyland Park.
