Hong Kong Disneyland has a new Daytime parade called Friendtastic!
Hong Kong Disneyland has launched its most spectacular parade to date with the debut of the Friendtastic! Parade, the highlight of the park’s 20th anniversary celebration, titled “The Most Magical Party of All.” This high-energy, 30-minute parade is the largest in the resort’s history, featuring 11 floats, more than 100 performers, and over 30 beloved Disney characters. The parade replaced the Flights of Fantasy daytime parade.
Leading the parade is Mickey Mouse and friends aboard a golden float covered in floral motifs, setting the tone for a celebration of friendship across Disney and Pixar worlds. Each float showcases a unique story and theme:
- Zootopia Unit
- Includes Judy, Nick, and other citizens.
- Features animated billboards
- Big Hero 6 Unit
- Baymax “flies” using smoke effects.
- Dancers wear tech-inspired outfits with movable props.
- Pixar Pals Unit
- Five mini-floats: Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., Turning Red, Inside Out, and Up.
- Encanto Unit
- Includes Mirabel & Isabela
- Casita comes to life with moving tiles, flowers, and synced animatronics.
- Duffy and Friends Unit
- Includes Duffy and his Friends
- Features lush nature elements and butterfly-themed dancers.
- Castle of Magical Dreams (Finale)
- Showcases the Disney Princesses
- Float modeled after the park’s iconic castle.
The parade is enhanced by four original songs and bespoke choreography tailored to each float’s theme, offering an immersive and joyful experience.

The Friendtastic! Parade is part of a larger anniversary celebration that includes:
- “Disney Friends Live: Party at the Castle!” – a new castle stage show.
- “Momentous: Party in the Night Sky (Pre-show)!” – a special edition of the park’s nighttime spectacular with drones.
