During our latest visit to Disneyland Paris, we checked on the progress of the construction and transformation of Walt Disney Studios Park into Disney Adventure World. Here is an overview of some photos:
It immediately stands out when arriving at Walt Disney Studios Park that since our last visit, many more trees and street lamps have been added. This “new street,” which will form a theater district, will have much more greenery than before and will be the first thing you see when leaving the revamped Studio 1 (World Premiere). Hopefully, they will soon be able to move the long and obstructive construction fences so they can widen this path, allowing us to walk among the new trees soon.
This photo was taken at the entrance of Animation Celebration, heading towards the Animagique Theater. The area in front of the Animagique Theater is now the largest construction zone in the new theater district. The entire floor will be renewed to match the new look, and new trees will also be planted. Due to this construction, the theater is currently not accessible.
If we turn around towards the entrance of Animation Celebration, we can see that a new section is now complete. Around the entrance of the building, the floors have been renewed, and all the theaters in this area will feature a similar pattern at their entrances, resembling a kind of red carpet to welcome guests into the theaters.
The biggest visual change is undoubtedly the posters that have been placed on Studio 1. Studio 1, which will soon reopen as World Premiere, will be part of the new World Premiere Plaza on this side, with the new street leading to all the theaters and their shows. That’s why these posters of the current shows in the park have been added: Mickey and the Magician at the Animagique Theater, Frozen at Animation Celebration, and Together: A Pixar Musical Adventure at the Studio Theater.
This is the area near the entrance of the Animagique Theater, where you can clearly see that they are hard at work transforming this entire area as well.
In Toy Story Playland, we can clearly see the new statues of Woody and Jessie, which we previously featured in our updates. But if you look further, you can also spot arches with lighting that will serve as decorative elements on the new promenade, “Adventure Way.” We also notice several new shaped trees placed around the Woody statue. Near Cars Road Trip, we don’t see many changes at the moment. The status of the large restroom building remains unchanged for now, and the new restaurant at Adventure Lake is fully wrapped up to ensure work can continue in all weather conditions.
