The Animation Celebration building in Walt Disney Studios Park has reopened after being closed for several months.
During the closure, some adjustments were made to the pre-show of Frozen: A Musical Invitation, the Animation Boutique, and the meet & greet with Olaf.
The most noticeable change is the relocation of the Toy Story Zoetrope, which now stands in the pre-show area of the Animation Celebration Theater, no longer next to the Animation Boutique. The former location of the Toy Story Zoetrope is now home to the meet & greet with Olaf, the cheerful snowman from the popular Disney film Frozen, complete with a large backdrop decoration.
Due to this adjustment, Olaf is less visible to visitors exiting the theater after the show, as they may not immediately notice him. The previous meet & greet location has been removed and replaced with a new backdrop featuring the iconic sorcerer’s hat, which is also visible on the outside of the building.
At the end of 2023, this meet & greet location was temporarily used for encounters with Asha from the Disney film Wish. The future use of this location remains unclear.
The Animation Boutique, which previously offered a wide range of Pixar merchandise before the temporary closure, is now fully focused on Anna and Elsa from Frozen.
No changes have been made to the show Frozen: A Musical Invitation. In this interactive performance at Walt Disney Studios Park, visitors are immersed in the magical world of Arendelle. During this experience, they meet beloved characters such as Anna, Elsa, Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf. This show debuted in 2019.
