Every time we visit Disneyland Paris, we are, of course, very curious about the latest developments in Walt Disney Studios Park, which is currently a large construction site for the transformation into Disney Adventure World.
These changes were noticeable this time. For example, we saw lighting being installed above the posters at the back of Studio 1 (new name: World Première).
The biggest change can be seen at the Animagique Theater, which is currently closed, meaning there are no shows of Mickey and the Magician. The large number 3 at the top of the building has completely disappeared. Soon, a large poster of Mickey and the Magician will be placed here, covering the entire facade.
The new promenade “Adventure Way” is also taking shape. More and more trees and plants have been planted. Many floors have been laid, and light poles have been installed. The latest developments include some kind of “walls” behind the trees to hide the backstage area. We’re curious to see how this will look once it’s finished.
Here, at the new entrance to Toy Story Playland, we can also see a kind of “wall” behind the trees to hide the backstage area, as seen at the bottom of the photo. The new entrance looks almost complete; just finishing the gardens and it will be ready.
In the distance, we can see World of Frozen, which is becoming less visible due to the large buildings in the foreground, such as the new restaurant at Adventure Bay and the new Rapunzel attraction, shown at the bottom of the photo. We can see that the mountains of World of Frozen are almost finished, and the scaffolding around those mountains is gradually disappearing. We’re still waiting for the installation of Elsa’s Ice Palace at the top. This area is expected to open in 2026, along with the name change to Disney Adventure World. Based on the photos and how the construction is progressing, in our opinion, it could be as early as the beginning of 2026. That’s just about one year from now, and it should be feasible to complete the entire Disney Adventure World project by then.
