It has become an annual tradition for Disneyland Paris to celebrate Star Wars Day in Discoveryland, near the Star Tours and Star Wars: Hyperspace Mountain attractions.
However, this year Disney is surprising guests with a special mini event taking place in Disneyland Paris, with entertainment, merchandise and more. Guests can meet Star Wars characters and see the BDX Droids droids for the first time in Europe.
Jedi training for Young Padawans
From 4 May to 24 May 2025, you can master the art of lightsaber wielding during a new walk-up interactive experience in Discoveryland! This hands-on moment – recommended for children under 10 – will reveal the ways of the Force, thanks to the knowledge of the Saja.
The Saja are best known from the Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser, the former Star Wars hotel at Walt Disney World Resort.
Despite the comparison with the classic Jedi Training Academy, the Saja characters are not Jedi, but they train young kids.
At the end, the Saja invite a well-known Jedi: none other than Rey Skywalker, who also takes some time afterward to take pictures and chat with Star Wars fans. There’s no queue — she chooses who she wants to interact with.
