The Disney•Pixar film Ratatouille has played an important role at Disneyland Paris for years — not only is the movie inspired by France and the city of Paris, but it also served as the creative foundation for the first Ratatouille-themed attraction, which opened in 2014 at Walt Disney Studios Park.
Ratatouille: The Adventure is a 3D dark ride where guests shrink down to the size of a rat and scurry through Gusteau’s restaurant. Filled with humor, scents, and special effects, the ride became so popular that it was cloned in 2021 at EPCOT in Walt Disney World, where it opened under the name Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.
In the Ratatouille-themed area at Disneyland Paris, fans can also dine at Bistrot Chez Rémy, a fully themed restaurant that brings the animated world to life. Remy and Emile have also made appearances in various shows across the resort.
Even 18 years after its release, Ratatouille remains a fan favorite — recently, the resort expanded its themed Ratatouille merchandise, now available in several shops.
