On a day like today, Bastille Day, the French National Holiday, there is a big fireworks show, as is the yearly tradition.
In Disney Village, construction continues on two new restaurants. At the front, on the former site of Planet Hollywood, a crane has been added to the Casa Giulia construction site. At the back of Disney Village, work continues on the new McDonald’s.
Near Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, we are waiting for the new Disney Village to be finished. The project has been going on for quite a while. The finishing work is also not going very fast. I’m curious when this project will be completed.
After a short time away, the benches in the Production Courtyard are back. They were temporarily removed because of nearby construction work.
The finishing of the new restaurant near Adventure Bay continues. More and more decorative elements have been added to the building.
After a very long absence, the digital wait time sign at RC Racer has returned. It is not working yet.
The renovation work at the Royal Castle Stage is almost finished. At the moment, we don’t see many changes anymore, so we think the project is almost done. One of the last changes is the themed barriers on the low walls, so that people can no longer sit or stand on them.
Even though we are in the middle of the summer holiday, Toad Hall Restaurant in Fantasyland is currently closed. It’s a pity that such a nice big terrace is not being used on these sunny days.
A new popcorn animated doll has been added, this time near the entrance of Le Pays des Contes de Fées.
Construction fences to do some renovation work at the Meet Mickey Mouse location in Fantasyland.
The waterfall at the entrance of It’s A Small World was finally renovated. Now we are still waiting for the return of the boat on top of it.
2 Small updates at Animation Celebration in the Walt Disney Studios Park: the Olaf meet & greet joined the virtual queue system and a reference to the new Disney / Pixar film ELIO was added.
In the shop window of the shop Chez Marianne, a figure from Remy and Emile from Ratatouille were added.
The kiosks with posters near the entrance of the Walt Disney Studios Park are back.
Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast is closed for a longer period due to renovation.
The renovation of Space Mountain also continues, and it has been going on for many months. The work is now mainly focused on the front and the very top. On the roof, the iconic round neon lights have been removed to be replaced with a new round lighting system. One of them has already been added.
The Princess Pavilion was also added to the virtual queue system.
With the refurbishment of Pirates of the Caribbean, Disneyland Paris also took the time to renovate the fountain near the exit of the attraction.
In several places in Disneyland Park, small painting works can be seen, like here in Adventureland near Pirates of the Caribbean and in Main Street USA near Walt’s restaurant.
