The Disney Music Festival at Disneyland Paris is still going strong and will run until 7 September 2025.
There are several fun activities happening all around Disneyland Park, plus special food and merchandise available just for the festival.
After trying out all the different activities a few times, we decided to rank them from our least favorite to our top pick—things you definitely won’t want to miss!
We didn’t include the welcome greeting with Mickey Mouse at the Main Street train station or the Elvis Stitch meet & greet in this list, since we don’t count those as shows.

10. Moana and her musicians
After her appearance in A Million Splashes of Colour last year during the Disney Symphony of Colour, Moana now has her very own show at this year’s Disney Music Festival.
The show takes place in Adventureland, between Colonel Hathi’s Outpost Restaurant and the Indiana Jones™ and the Temple of Peril ride. For the festival, this area has been decorated with new elements inspired by Moana’s island and other characters from the movie—these details are a nice touch.

Unfortunately, Moana is the only character from the beloved film to appear in the show. It would have been nice to have an appearance by the chicken Heihei, like they do during the parade Magic Happens at the Disneyland Resort. However, musicians from her island join her on stage, playing tropical music that fans may recognize from both the original movie and Moana 2. At the end, guests are invited to join in and dance along.
The show lasts around 15 minutes, which we found to be a bit too long. The interactive parts aren’t strong enough to fully keep the audience engaged.
9. Musical Meet-up with Rapunzel and Flynn
In Fantasyland, you can watch Musical Meet-up with Rapunzel and Flynn, located between the Old Mill and the Princess Pavilion. This show is quite similar to the Moana performance, lasting about 15 minutes.
The show is inspired by the scene in the movie where Rapunzel, Pascal, Flynn, and Maximus arrive in the Kingdom of Corona and see the villagers celebrating. The music and overall atmosphere are based on the work of composer Alan Menken.

There are a few decorations from the movie, but they’re fairly simple. The biggest issue with this show is the location—it’s not ideal for this type of entertainment. The space is usually used for character meet-and-greets, so it’s difficult to find a good viewing spot. Cast Members do their best to help younger guests get to the front, but it can still be tricky.
We’d only recommend this show if you’re a big fan of Rapunzel and Flynn. If so, try arriving right after one show ends to get a better spot for the next one. Or, you can catch them again during the Grand Orchestra Finale at Central Plaza near the end of the day.
8. Goofy’s Imaginary Orchestra
Goofy appears several times a day on Central Plaza during the Disney Music Festival, acting as a conductor—but without an orchestra! Instead, he leads the castle fountains in a fun, musical performance. He even wears a special new conductor’s outfit made just for the festival.
The show is similar to “Instant Concert… Just Add Water with Goofy” from Disney California Adventure, though the Disneyland Paris team says this was just a coincidence.

A fun intro, where Goofy struggles with his baton, adds some extra charm. The show lasts only 7 minutes—shorter than most of the festival’s 15-minute performances—which works well since Goofy is the only character on stage.
Note: This is the only festival activation without showtimes listed in the Disneyland Paris app.
7. Donald and Daisy’s Accordionist
During the Disney Music Festival, you find Donald and Daisy in the Italian section of Fantasyland, joined by a live accordion player.
They perform a sketch set to classic Disney tunes like Bella Notte, brought to life through charming accordion music. For the occasion, Donald and Daisy wear colorful new costumes inspired by Commedia dell’arte.

The show originally took place near Pizzeria Bella Notte but was moved to the parade gate near It’s a Small World a few days into the Disney Music Festival.
The costumes are a real highlight, and the playful interaction with both kids and adults adds a lot of charm. While accordion players have occasionally appeared during the food festival in Walt Disney Studios Park, it’s unusual—and delightful—to see one perform alongside Disney characters in a Disneyland Paris show.
6. Mary Poppins and the Pearly Band
To catch the first Disney Music Festival show of the day, head to Town Square. There, you’ll find Mary Poppins and Bert joined by the Pearly Band, performing classic songs from both the original Mary Poppins film and Mary Poppins Returns.
The first performance of Mary Poppins and the Pearly Band takes place in the morning, even during Extra Magic Time—exclusively for Disney Hotel guests and Disneyland Pass Gold holders. It’s a lovely way to start your day on Main Street, whether you stop to enjoy the music or listen while heading to your first attraction.

Mary and Bert also take time to interact with the audience during the show. For the festival, the Pearly Band musicians received beautiful costumes.
Unfortunately, Mary Poppins, Bert, and the Pearly Band do not appear in the Grand Orchestra Finale on Central Plaza, unlike many other characters and performers from the festival.
5. Miguel’s Fiesta Latina
In the afternoon, you can enjoy Miguel’s Fiesta Latina, inspired by the Disney•Pixar movie Coco, happening several times a day in Frontierland. Miguel and his mariachi friends perform near the Last Chance Café and The Lucky Nugget Saloon. It’s easy to find the spot thanks to the bright, colorful decorations made just for the show.

You’ll hear well-known songs from Coco, like “Remember Me” and “The World Es Mi Familia.” The show also includes two dancers and some fun, colorful skeleton puppets.
This show has more performers than others, which is why it ranks higher on our list. Along with the mariachi musicians, there are two dancers and two performers with skeleton puppets.
4. Disney Music Hits Concert
The Disney Music Hits Concert, part of the Disney Music Festival, is a high-energy rock show for the whole family! Held at the Videopolis Theater in Discoveryland, it’s one of the festival’s biggest productions—alongside the Grand Orchestra Finale at Central Plaza. The show features 11 live performers: 6 musicians and 5 singers, with everything performed live on stage.
This exciting concert celebrates Disney’s greatest songs, taking you on a musical journey from the classics to newer hits like “Nobody Like U” from Turning Red and “Try Everything” by Gazelle from Zootopia. You’ll also hear fan favorites from the 1990s, all performed with a fun pop-rock twist.

At the end of the performance, Chip and Dale make a special appearance! They’re the only Disney characters in the show, but they come dressed in Daft Punk-style costumes made especially for the Disney Music Festival. They join the musicians for a fun remix of Disney songs and “Viva La Musique.”
This is also the most comfortable show to watch, thanks to its indoor location. You can even enjoy it while eating at Café Hyperion. It’s great to see Disney making use of the Videopolis Theater this spring and summer, as it’s usually empty or only used for Disney Performing Arts Live on Stage.
Best of all, this is the only festival show that isn’t affected by bad weather.
3. Timon’s Matadance
After nearly six years, Timon’s Matadance is back as part of the Disney Music Festival! The show first appeared during the Lion King & Jungle Festival in summer 2019, alongside The Lion King: Rhythms of the Pride Lands (Frontierland Theater) and The Jungle Book Jive.
The show features Timon, Pumbaa, and Zazu, joined by a group of dancers. This updated version is even bigger than before, with the addition of live percussionists and the festival anthem “Viva La Musique!”

We think this is one of the most interactive shows of the Disney Music Festival—kids and adults are invited to dance along and shout the iconic “Hakuna Matata” as they learn the Matadance.
One of our favorite moments? When guests start to leave, and the cast bursts into one final, high-energy Matadance. It was a great decision by Disney to bring this show back—it fits the festival perfectly, and it’s amazing to see those vibrant costumes return for the first time since 2019.
2. Minnie’s Marching Band
A Disneyland marching band feels like a must in every Disney castle park—but it’s something Disneyland Paris has often skipped. For the Disney Music Festival, though, Minnie Mouse, who might have a bigger role during this festival than Mickey, has assembled a talented group of musicians to bring Disney hits on Main Street.
You’ll hear songs like:
- Hakuna Matata (The Lion King)
- We Don’t Talk About Bruno (Encanto)
- Be Our Guest (Beauty and the Beast)
- Zero to Hero (Hercules)
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- And the festival anthem, “Viva La Musique”

The band marches from the Main Street parade gate up to Market House Deli and Walt’s, then turns back. They don’t go all the way down the street or to Central Plaza—likely because of Goofy’s Imaginary Orchestra.
If there’s one small critique, it’s that it would’ve been nice to hear more park-specific music—something like “It’s a Small World.” Still, the current lineup creates a great vibe on Main Street during the Disney Music Festival.
1. The Grand Orchestra Finale
After a day full of music and fun at the Disney Music Festival, head to Central Plaza for a colorful and lively finale. Mickey Mouse takes the lead as conductor, bringing together all the festival’s musicians for one big, joyful performance.
All the performers and Disney characters come together on Central Plaza’s four stages, just like in past shows A Million Splashes of Colour and Dream… And Shine Brighter. But this time, the focus is more on music than dancing.

The Grand Orchestra Finale can feel a bit chaotic with all the Disney Music Festival activations in one show, and it does remind me of the finale shows often seen at Disneyland Paris Annual Pass Parties. But it all comes together nicely and ends in a true party atmosphere.
Of course, Mickey returns to lead a sing-along of the Disney Music Festival anthem, “Viva La Musique!”, complete with daytime fireworks, similar to what you may have seen in The Jungle Book Jive and Dream… And Shine Brighter.
After the show, the performers make their way down Main Street in a small parade. Highlights include:
- Stitch riding his old Disney Stars ‘n’ Cars vehicle
- Timon on a custom tricycle
- A float from the Tree Lighting Ceremony and Dream… And Shine Brighter, now repurposed for the Disney Music Hits Concert musicians and Chip & Dale
All other performers and Disney characters follow on foot, for a fun and close-up farewell to the day.
