A new Pirates of the Caribbean–themed pub, The Beak and Barrel, will open in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World on August 29, 2025. The venue is inspired by the story of Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn and her parrot, Rummy, and features nods to the classic attraction.
Reservations for Beak and Barrel open August 14 via the My Disney Experience app or Disney’s website. Visits are limited to 45 minutes, with a maximum of two alcoholic drinks per guest.
The menu includes family-friendly mocktails such as the Treasure Trove (ube, lemon, coconut, and sweet treats) and Cursed Treasure (cookies and cream–style drink with coconut milk). Adult options range from the Salty Seas margarita with ube to the Plunderer’s Punch served in a collectible skull mug. Snacks include Kraken’s Catch (marinated octopus salad), Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes, and Island Provisions with plantain chips and dips.
Exclusive beers, wines, and themed merchandise will also be available, including a Rummy-themed T-shirt and shoulder plush at Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar.
