New Control Booth Under Construction on Central Plaza in Disneyland Paris
A brand-new control booth is currently being installed on Central Plaza in Disneyland Park, next to the existing one that was built around the park’s 20th anniversary. That original booth was introduced for the debut of “Disney Dreams!” in 2012, a nighttime spectacular featuring Peter Pan his shadow through several classic Disney stories.

The current control building manages all technical aspects of the (nighttime) shows, including projection mapping on Sleeping Beauty Castle, fireworks, fountains, fire effects, music, lasers, searchlights, mist, and the drones introduced in 2022 with the pre-show “Disney D-Light“. The existing booth is themed as a gardener’s shed for the park’s landscaping crew.
The new control room is taller, giving Cast Members a better view of Central Plaza. While Disneyland Paris hasn’t provided any official details about the new structure, whether it’s a permanent upgrade or a temporary solution, it wouldn’t be surprising if, after more than a decade, improvements were needed.

Disney Tales of Magic:
Currently, the booth is used to operate Disney Tales of Magic, a new 20-minute nighttime spectacular that premiered earlier this year. The show lights up not only Sleeping Beauty Castle but also Main Street. with dazzling projections, pyrotechnics, fountains, lasers, immersive sound, and drones. It features beloved Disney and Pixar stories like Coco, Encanto, Toy Story, and Beauty and the Beast, celebrating themes of dreams, friendship, and adventure through breathtaking visuals and emotional storytelling.
