More popcorn animated dolls arrived in Disneyland Paris
Earlier this year, Disney shared that the Walt Disney Imagineering teams at Disneyland Paris are working on brand-new designs and popcorn animated dolls for the popcorn stands in Disneyland Park.

These fun figures are inspired by the original popcorn carts, called “Cretors,” named after their inventor, Charles Cretors. He created his popcorn machine in 1885. In 1893, he showed it at the World’s Fair in Chicago. To attract people, Charles painted his carts in bright colors and added a small clown figure that turned a popcorn drum.
When Disneyland first opened in 1955, you could find Cretors carts along Main Street, U.S.A., including the famous moving clown. These carts didn’t just smell like fresh popcorn — they also fit perfectly with the old-fashioned feel of Main Street, U.S.A.

The carts with their moving figures became so popular that they were added to Disney parks all over the world, including Tokyo Disney Resort, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, and of course, Disneyland Paris. You can spot them in many areas of Disneyland Park — from Central Plaza to near Dumbo, Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril, Orbitron, and Casa de Coco — each one with its own look to match the location.

In recent months, many new animated figures have joined the popcorn stands, bringing extra charm and fun. Here’s a look at some of them:
