After several months of construction, the new security checkpoint near Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel has officially opened. The checkpoint is primarily intended for guests staying at Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel, Disney Sequoia Lodge, Disney Hotel Santa Fé, and Disney Hotel Cheyenne. However, other visitors who wish to take a stroll through the Resort will also pass through this location.

Security checks have been a familiar part of Disneyland Paris since the early 2000s, following the New York attacks. For many years, these controls were carried out in temporary tent structures. For example, guests arriving from Disney Newport Bay Club still go through tents today. With the opening of this new checkpoint, Disney is gradually replacing these temporary setups with modern, permanent facilities that are not only more professional in appearance but also more comfortable and efficient for both guests and Cast Members.
The design of the new structure is similar to the large security checkpoint at the park entrances, which was completely rebuild some time ago.
Disney is also working on an additional checkpoint on the opposite side of Disney Village, although construction there has only just begun and will take some time to complete. On the Disney Newport Bay Club side, there are currently no changes, but future upgrades are expected—especially once Disney Village expands in that direction. Likewise, the entrance near the Da Vinci parking lot, which serves as the Disney Village parking area, still uses the older style and is likely to be modernized in the future.
