On October 13, 2025 the much-loved attraction Ratatouille The Adventure will close for a major renovation.
The teams at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris and Disneyland Paris are working together to give this popular experience at Walt Disney Studios Park a fresh new look. The attraction is set to reopen in spring 2026.
During the renovation, the ride will receive many technical upgrades and scenic improvements to make the adventure even more immersive and enjoyable.
When it reopens, guests will notice an updated queue area, which will now include a brand-new scene inside a Parisian artist’s studio. The room will be full of details like canvases on the walls, splashes of paint, and a fruit basket – something the neighbourhood rats would surely love!

Inside the attraction, guests will discover new props, improved projections, and larger set pieces carefully designed by Disney Imagineers to make the feeling of being shrunk to Remy’s size even stronger.
The renovation of Ratatouille The Adventure will also bring a full upgrade of the attraction’s technical equipment, including state-of-the-art video projectors and enhanced video media for better visual quality. Importantly, after months of testing and guest feedback, the ride’s media content will now be shown only in 2D. The 3D version of Ratatouille The Adventure has already been removed since April 2024 and will not be returning.

This project follows other major upgrades across the resort, such as Le Pays des Contes de Fées, Big Thunder Mountain, and Buzz Lightyear Laser Blast. With this renovation, Disneyland Paris continues its promise to deliver the best possible experience for all its guests. Stay tuned for more updates as this exciting transformation continues!
Disney has said that Bistrot Chez Rémy and the shop Chez Marianne (Souvenirs de Paris) are expected to remain open during the closure of the attraction.
