At Walt Disney Studios Park’s Production Courtyard, the brand-new entrance to Studio D has been unveiled. The highlight is a large digital screen designed to clearly display which production is currently running inside. With this upgrade, Disneyland Paris hopes that visitors will find the theater more easily and be encouraged to step inside.
Studio D has been sitting empty for a while but was previously home to Disney Junior Dream Factory. Despite receiving strong praise from Disney fans, the show struggled to attract large audiences. It was a unique production featuring songs and characters rarely seen in other Disneyland shows, such as Vampirina and Fancy Nancy.
The timing, however, worked against it. Launched during the pandemic, Disney Junior Dream Factory was never heavily promoted, as sitting together in packed theaters was considered a risk. As a result, the show never built the momentum it needed.
It was eventually replaced by Minnie’s Musical Moment, a short act where Minnie Mouse performed to three songs alongside a dancer. Guests and fans quickly criticized the experience, and the show was pulled after a short run.
New show for Studio D
Since then, Studio D has remained closed. Disneyland Paris has confirmed that a revamped Dream Factory show is in development, though no details have been shared yet. The new entrance, however, marks a clear step toward making future productions more visible and accessible.
With its redesigned access point and eye-catching screen, Studio D is now ready to attract audiences once again—and perhaps finally become the stage where unique Disney shows can truly shine.
