Hong Kong Disneyland is expanding the Stark Expo area in Tomorrowland with a brand-new Avengers attraction, alongside new shops, restaurants, and entertainment. The shape and design shown in the concept art strongly resemble the form of the Tower of Terror.
A high-intensity thrill ride featuring height, drop sequences, and spectacular show effects. In the second concept art, you can clearly see an elevator with guests inside, which is almost a copy of what you can find in the Tower of Terror.
This would be the second ‘Tower of Terror’-type attraction with a Marvel theme. The original Tower of Terror at Disney California Adventure was transformed years ago into Guardians of the Galaxy – Mission: BREAKOUT! to fit into their version of Avengers Campus. At Hong Kong Disneyland, however, multiple superheroes are expected to be involved in the attraction.
With this addition, Hong Kong Disneyland is set to gain an iconic E-ticket attraction that combines Marvel spectacle with top-tier thrills.
