During our latest visit to Walt Disney Studios Park (Disney Adventure World), we took another look at the progress on the park’s major expansion, which is set to open in the spring of 2026. At that time, the park will officially become Disney Adventure World, featuring the highly anticipated World of Frozen. Guests will be able to step into the kingdom of Arendelle, inspired by Disney’s hit animated film Frozen, complete with a brand-new attraction, shop, and a restaurant.

What many people forget is that this expansion will almost double the size of the park. In addition to World of Frozen, there will be even more new experiences, including the family attraction Raiponce Tangled Spin, a new evening show on a large lake, and several new dining locations.

Hundreds of new trash cans for Disney Adventure World:
To help keep the new areas just as clean as the rest of the park, hundreds of new trash cans will be placed throughout. These have already arrived backstage, behind Toy Story Playland. Guests riding the Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop and looking toward the construction site may notice more than 250 trash cans, still wrapped in plastic, waiting to be installed.

Just like in other Disney parks, the trash cans will be themed to match their locations, including Adventure Way, Adventure Bay, and of course, World of Frozen.
In addition to the trash cans, we also spotted some new benches already installed in a new walkway that will serve as an extra entrance to Toy Story Playland when it reopens in 2026.

From the spring of 2026, guests will finally be able to explore these exciting new areas. While the exact opening date has not yet been announced, we do know one thing: the Walt Disney Studios Park will soon officially be known as Disney Adventure World.
