Halloween Magic Lights Up Main Street at Disneyland Paris
October has arrived, and that means Halloween has once again taken over Disneyland Paris. The resort is fully decorated for the season, with a festive parade, character meet-and-greets, and more..
Seasonal Highlights and Returning Favorites
This year does not introduce major new shows, but there are still several exciting updates. Mickey’s Halloween Celebration Parade returns, and guests can meet extra characters throughout the park. Main Street and Frontierland are filled with pumpkins, garlands, and spooky touches that create the perfect seasonal atmosphere.
A new meet and greet location has been added in Frontierland featuring Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. Jack is also debuting a brand-new look this year. Frontierland’s (Un)Lucky Nugget Saloon has received a Phantom Manor-inspired overlay with fresh decorations and a completely new menu.
Nighttime Projections on Main Street
One of the most impressive additions this year appears after dark. When evening falls, the buildings along Main Street come alive with continuous Halloween projections. The sequences feature spiders crawling across the rooftops, bats, dancing pumpkins, and even a storm effect sweeping through the street with smoke effects. The lights in the Halloween garlands also interact with the projections, making the whole experience feel more immersive.
These effects reminds us of the spooky atmosphere once created during the Halloween parties Disney hosted after park closing several years ago.

To enhance the projections, the lights on the rooftops are turned off in the evening. This makes Main Street noticeably darker to walk through. Guests who prefer a better-lit route toward Central Plaza or Town Square can use the Liberty Arcade or Discoveryland Arcade.

Schedule and Start Time
The Halloween projections made their debut on October 1, 2025, the first day of the Disney Halloween Festival. This was unexpected, as Disney’s press release stated that they would only be shown on weekends until becoming daily from October 19, 2025. During our visit, the effects began around 8:15 PM. However, there is no official schedule published, so the starting time may vary.
The Disney Halloween Festival 2025 runs daily through November 2, 2025.

Looking Ahead to Christmas
Once Halloween ends, the celebrations continue with the Disney Enchanted Christmas season, which begins on November 8, 2025. Projections are expected to return to mark the most magical time of the year. Guests may see similar effects synchronized with the giant Christmas tree that will stand on Town Square.
The nighttime show Disney Tales of Magic also includes projections on the buildings of Main Street every night at park closing time.
