Fans of The Nightmare Before Christmas will be thrilled to hear that Jack Skellington and Sally have returned to Disneyland Paris for the Disney Halloween Festival 2025.
Previously, Jack and Sally met guests near Phantom Manor, but for Halloween 2025, they have moved to a new location: Critter Corral in Frontierland. This area, found near the Frontierland Theater (Lion King show), has been completely transformed. Last year, it hosted a “Meet & Play experience” with Mother Gothel, but it now features a Halloween Town backdrop and the iconic Halloween Town Fountain.

Jack Skellington’s Updated Look
One of the most talked-about changes this year is Jack Skellington’s new appearance. In the past, his costume often received criticism on social media for not accurately representing the character, with many saying he looked more like an alien than the Pumpkin King. Disney appears to have listened. The updated costume features a more accurate head design, redesigned hands, and a closer resemblance to the movie version. Jack can still interact with guests as before.

Virtual Queue System Now in Use
Due to the popularity of these characters, the Meet & Greet now requires guests to use the virtual queue system available in the Disneyland Paris app. Guests must register while inside the park at 9:45 AM or 2:00 PM.

During our most recent visit, availability was gone in less than 30 seconds. We were lucky enough to get a spot and waited only about 10 minutes in the physical line, a big improvement from previous years where wait times could last several hours.

Mickey Mouse at the Former Location
At the old Jack and Sally Meet & Greet location near Phantom Manor, Mickey Mouse continues to greet fans in his special Phantom Manor outfit. This location has also been added to the virtual queue system recently, since Meet Mickey Mouse in Fantasyland is closed for refurbishment until early 2026.
