Big Updates Coming Soon: World of Frozen and Disney Adventure World at Disneyland Paris
Next year, it will finally be time for Anna and Elsa to open the gates of Arendelle, better known as World of Frozen, at Walt Disney Studios Park, which will soon be renamed Disney Adventure World. Last summer, Disney revealed that the highly anticipated land will open in Spring 2026, and even shared a video featuring Imagineer Michel den Dulk, who gave fans a sneak peek at what’s to come.
After that announcement, things went quiet for a while, with very few updates about World of Frozen or the other new areas opening next spring at Disneyland Paris. But that’s about to change. Disney has now shared information with the fan community about a special event taking place on November 24, 2025.
This event, reserved for a lucky selection of fans and media, will focus on the future of Walt Disney Studios Park as it transforms into Disney Adventure World. Interestingly, Disney has also reportedly invited fan media from the USA, which suggests this could be a major milestone, and possibly the official start of the 2026 promotional campaign. Many are speculating that an exact opening date for World of Frozen could even be announced during this event.

Official Website Still Quiet
So far, a large-scale promo campaign has not yet begun. Even the official Disneyland Paris website only briefly mentions the upcoming Frozen-themed land and the name change to Disney Adventure World. Other exciting additions, like Rapunzel’s Tangled Spin, The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge, Adventure Way, and the new nighttime show on Adventure Bay, are not yet featured on the website.

What Else Is Coming to Disney Adventure World?
The transformation doesn’t stop with Frozen. A third new land themed to The Lion King is also planned for the future. This expansion replaces the previously announced Star Wars land, and construction crews are already at work. On Adventure Way, guests can also look forward to a flying carousel attraction

When the expansion opens in Spring 2026, the park will almost double in size, with World of Frozen as the highlight.
Guests will be able to visit and explore Arendelle, including the new attraction Frozen Ever After (known from EPCOT and Hong Kong Disneyland), dine at Nordic Crown’s Tavern, shop in the Arendelle Boutique, meet Anna & Elsa, and more.

Disney Adventure World model
For guests visiting the park before the opening of the expansion, the Disney Adventure World Preview Center inside Animation Celebration is where a big model is currently on display.
