Walt Disney Studios Park Sign Removed Ahead of Name Change to Disney Adventure World

Big changes are happening at Disneyland Paris! The Walt Disney Studios Park entrance sign has now been removed as preparations continue for the park’s upcoming name change to Disney Adventure World, set to take place in Spring 2026.
The name change was first announced on April 12, 2024, by Disneyland Paris President Natacha Rafalski during a special presentation at the Studio Theater. Characters and Cast Members representing the park’s themed areas came together on stage to celebrate and officially reveal the new name.
Goodbye, Walt Disney Studios Park
As the rebranding approaches, we’re slowly seeing all references to Walt Disney Studios Park disappear. Some time ago, the iconic “That’s a Wrap!” sign was removed from the park’s exit area. Now, the large entrance sign featuring the park’s name has also been taken down.

The next change is expected to involve the Earffel Tower, the park’s iconic water tower. Thankfully, it won’t be removed, instead, it will be integrated into Disney Adventure World and updated with the park’s new logo.

A Park Fully Transformed
This name change is part of a much larger transformation plan, with Disney stating that around 90% of the park has been reimagined since its opening in 2002.

One of the biggest transformations in Walt Disney Studios Park so far is the World Premiere area (formerly Studio 1), which opened earlier this year featuring a completely redesigned restaurant and shop. The Production Courtyard and Toon Studio areas have also been reimagined and are now known as World Premiere Plaza.

What’s Coming Next
The highlight of the ongoing transformation will undoubtedly be the new themed areas opening in Spring 2026, including Adventure Way, Adventure Bay, and of course, World of Frozen, where guests will step into the world of Disney’s beloved animated film Frozen.

In World of Frozen, guests will be able to experience the Frozen Ever After attraction (already a favorite at EPCOT and Hong Kong Disneyland), dine at Nordic Crown’s Tavern, shop at the Arendelle Boutique, and meet Anna and Elsa in person.
Disney also shared a behind-the-scenes video last summer featuring Imagineer Michel den Dulk, giving fans a sneak peek at the beautiful new land.
When night falls, guests will be treated to a brand-new nighttime spectacular on Adventure Way, featuring fountains, water screens, projections, pyrotechnics, drones. and more.

When will World of Frozen open?
While no exact date has been announced yet for the park’s renaming, the official Disneyland Paris website currently only mentions that the change is planned for Spring 2026, with limited details available for now.
However, a special event will take place on November 24, 2025, dedicated entirely to Disney Adventure World. Selected fans and members of the media will be invited to learn more about the park’s transformation, and it’s widely expected that the official opening dates for both Disney Adventure World and World of Frozen will be announced during this event.
