On the final day of the Halloween Festival 2025, Disneyland Paris announced the dates for next year’s edition. The Halloween Festival 2026 will take place from September 26 to November 1, 2026.
This marks a break from tradition, as Disneyland Paris has always started its Halloween season on October 1. By moving the start date forward, the resort is aligning itself a little more with some other Disney parks around the world, which typically launch their spooky celebrations in September. Except the American Disney Parks where Halloween already start in August.
No official reason for the change was given, but it’s probably because Oct 1, 2026 is a Thursday and Sept 26, 2026 is a Saturday. A longer run means more guests can enjoy the eerie atmosphere, special shows, and appearances by the Disney Villains that bring the park to life.
It’s still unclear whether the festival will feature any major changes compared to this year’s edition. However, many are hoping for new additions or fresh updates to the parade and decorations, as some feel the festival could use a bit of a refresh and new additions.
