It’s being reported on social media that the Disneyland Hotel has started turning away non-hotel guests as of November 1, 2025.
The Disney Hotels Rules page on the official Disneyland Paris website also confirms this change, stating that only hotel guests or individuals with a confirmed reservation for a specific service (such as a restaurant, the Spa, or the My Royal Dream experience) are now allowed to enter the Disneyland Hotel.

This also means that non-hotel guests (or guests without a confirmed reservation for a specific service) are unable to visit the Royal Collection Boutique to purchase merchandise from the exclusive Disneyland Hotel collection or enjoy a drink at the Fleur de Lys Bar.
UPDATE:
We do not receive any direct information or confirmation from Disneyland Paris about the new rules, except for the updated regulations. Therefore, we have to rely on information shared on various social media platforms by people who obtained the details on site.
According to this information, there are now exceptions allowing non-hotel guests to enter the Disneyland Hotel. During the week, access is possible from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., and on weekends from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., or in the evening from 8 p.m. to midnight.
This means that guests not staying at the Disneyland Hotel can still visit the hotel, browse the shop, or have a drink in the bar in the evening. The focus of these restrictions appears to be on limiting daytime access, particularly for people visiting the hotel to spot princesses as an alternative to the Princess Pavilion, which has been causing overcrowding for the actual hotel guests.

When the Disneyland Hotel reopened in early 2024, similar access restrictions were initially in place. These rules were meant to control crowds of Disneyland Paris fans and other visitors who wanted to take a look inside the newly refurbished hotel without staying there. However, Disney lifted those restrictions shortly after reopening, allowing everyone to explore the hotel’s public spaces freely, including the La Troupe Royale activity, where Disney Princesses shortly meet guests. This experience became a popular spot for Disney fans hoping to meet a Disney princess.

The official Disneyland Hotel website has now been updated under the Hotel Access section (in both French and English) to include the following statement:
1.1. Access Control: For safety reasons and to preserve the quality of the experience for hotel guests, access to the Disneyland Hotel is strictly reserved to:
• Guests staying at the hotel;
• Individuals with a confirmed reservation for a specific service (restaurants, Spa, “My Royal Dream,” seminar room, etc.).
According to reports shared in various Facebook groups and fan pages, guests without a valid MagicPass from the hotel or a confirmed dining or My Royal Dream reservation are being denied entry at the entrance near Fantasia Gardens.

While many fans are disappointed by this decision, it’s understandable that Disneyland Paris wants to keep the hotel exclusive and calm for its guests, especially with the busy Disney Enchanted Christmas season and the end of the year just around the corner.
For now, all other Disney Hotels at Disneyland Paris remain open to non-hotel guests who wish to visit, except for Disney Davy Crockett Ranch, which, as usual, requires a reservation for either a stay or the restaurant. Parking at the Disney Hotels is also only allowed with a confirmed reservation.
