Big changes are coming to Disney Village once again, and this time, it’s Annette’s Diner that’s next in line for a makeover. According to the Disneyland Paris app, the popular restaurant will close on January 5, 2026, for a long-term refurbishment as part of the ongoing transformation of Disney Village.
The refurbishment of Annette’s Diner will start during the quieter winter season, and while no reopening date has been confirmed yet, the closure is expected to last for a while.

Keeping the 1950s Diner Charm
Unlike some of the other venues being reimagined as part of the Disney Village project, Annette’s Diner will reportedly keep its classic 1950s American diner theme, something that’s made it a fan favorite since the resort first opened.

Annette’s Diner is famous for its retro vibes, complete with burgers, hotdogs, milkshakes, onion rings, and a variety of American desserts.
Guests visiting in the morning can also enjoy an American-style breakfast served until 11:30 AM.
If you’re lucky, you might even catch one of the Cast Members serving on roller skates, adding to the nostalgic charm. Right now, there’s also a special Festivissimo burger on the menu to celebrate the Disney Enchanted Christmas season.

What’s Happening in Disney Village
Meanwhile, work continues across Disney Village as part of its multi-year transformation. Crews are currently putting the finishing touches on the new Sports Bar, which will reopen soon with a modernized look and fresh Disney artwork, including designs of Footballer Goofy and Baymax as a tennis player.

Next door, the Disney Store is also expected to close soon to make way for Disney Wonders, a brand-new retail space that will bring together all major Disney franchises under one roof. This closure will likely follow shortly after the Sports Bar reopens.

Looking ahead, 2026 will also see the arrival of a new McDonald’s and Casa Giulia, an Italian restaurant, continuing the transformation that’s giving Disney Village in Disneyland Paris a fresh, modern feel.
