Disneyland Paris Is transforming in a big way
As Disneyland Paris undergoes a major transformation, creativity and innovation are at the center of everything happening. The goal is to offer more magical Disney experiences, bringing stories to life in exciting and unexpected ways.

Disneyland Paris is reinventing the guest experience through big refurbishments, landmark beautification projects, new franchises, fresh entertainment experiences, and upgraded digital tools. These changes are already visible across the resort and aim to fully immerse guests in the worlds they love, while keeping Disneyland Paris at the forefront of Europe’s tourism.

When Walt Disney Studios Park opened in 2002, it offered guests a behind-the-scenes look at the making of movies and TV shows. Over time, the park has evolved to become more immersive, giving guests even more magical experiences. Thanks to a €2 billion investment announced in 2018, over 90% of the park is being transformed, and by the end of its expansion, the park will have nearly doubled in size!

As part of this transformation, Walt Disney Studios Park will be renamed Disney Adventure World in 2026, coinciding with the opening of World of Frozen, an immersive new area inspired by the icy kingdom of Arendelle. Future expansions include the world’s first themed area dedicated to The Lion King, promising unforgettable adventures for guests of all ages.
Alongside the second park’s expansion, the resort is seeing numerous other projects, including:
- The new Disney Tales of Magic nighttime spectacular
- The refurbishment of Disney Sequoia Lodge
- The reimagining of Disney Village
…and much more!
Disney Adventure World in Disneyland Paris
2026 will mark a new chapter for Disneyland Paris with the renaming of the second park to Disney Adventure World and the launch of brand-new experiences designed to thrill guests of all ages.

Adventure Way: The Gateway to the New Immersive Worlds
Adventure Way will be a beautiful promenade with lush landscaping and themed gardens inspired by Disney and Pixar stories. A new family attraction, Raiponce Tangled Spin, will let guests twirl through a gorgeous set inspired by the unforgettable lantern scene from Tangled.

The themed gardens will also offer magical spots to explore:
- Toy Story Garden brings Woody, Jessie, and friends to life, alongside the nearby Toy Story Playland.
- Gazebo Garden features character statues in a charming nod to England’s public squares.
Adventure Bay, a 3-hectare lake, will be surrounded by picturesque banks and the stylish Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, where guests can meet Disney Princesses and enjoy the new nighttime spectacular lighting up the lake.

This nighttime show will combine water screens, fountains, special effects, and never-before-seen drone choreography. Special water-drones developed with Dronisos will add a new wow factor, creating a magical end to each day at Disney Adventure World.
This show promises to be a new highlight of the Disneyland Paris nighttime entertainment lineup.
