Raiponce Tangled Spin Opens March 29, 2026 at Disney Adventure World
On March 29, 2026, Raiponce Tangled Spin will officially open in Disney Adventure World. This brand-new tea cup-style ride is inspired by Disney’s classic Tangled and is located on Adventure Way, right next to Regal View Restaurant & Lounge.
The attraction is designed for dreamers of all ages and brings to life one of the film’s most magical moments: the Lantern Festival. During a press preview on November 24, 2025 we got a first look at the ride and even made a video.
Guests will spin in finely sculpted gondolas under a sky full of glowing lanterns, surrounded by frescoes depicting Rapunzel’s adventures. The ride is accompanied by iconic music from the film, including “I See the Light”, and Mandy Moore, the original voice of Rapunzel, recorded special audio announcements for the attraction.
This will be the second Tangled-inspired ride to open at a Disney park. Last year, Tokyo DisneySea’s Fantasy Springs debuted a Tangled dark ride and restaurant, while at Magic Kingdom Park in Florida, fans could only find Tangled-themed bathrooms. Years ago, Rapunzel’s tower was also added to Le Pays des Contes de Fées in Disneyland Park (Paris).
Big Day for Disney Adventure World
March 29 is a huge day for Disney Adventure World, as the long-awaited World of Frozen land will also open. Guests can enjoy the Frozen Ever After attraction, new shops, Nordic Crowns Tavern, the daytime show A Celebration in Arendelle, meet-and-greets with Frozen characters, and more.
Nearby Raiponce Tangled Spin, Disney is also developing a family-friendly flying carousel where guests will soar into the whimsical world of Pixar’s Up. An official opening date for this ride hasn’t been announced yet.
