There had already been rumors online that the drone show recently performed above central Paris during the Avatar: Fire and Ash European Premiere would make its way to Disneyland Paris for a limited run — and now it’s officially confirmed by Disney FR and Disneyland Paris.
The impressive Avatar drone display seen in Paris was created by the Disneyland Paris drone team from the entertainment department, working together with the resort’s technological partner, Dronisos.
The original version featured a massive fleet of more than 3000 drones along with special effects like pyro and smoke. It’s not yet clear whether the version coming to Disneyland Paris will use the same number of drones, but it’s expected to deliver the same stunning atmosphere.
UPDATE This exclusive drone show, to celebrate the theatrical release of Avatar: Fire and Ash, will illuminate the sky above Walt Disney Studios® Park from 13th to 17th December at closing time.
