With Disney Adventure World becoming the new name of Walt Disney Studios Park, visible changes are already happening across the park. One of the most noticeable updates is the removal of the current park name from The Earffel Tower.
The Earffel Tower has been an icon of the park since its opening in March 2002. It’s also one of the first landmarks guests see when arriving at Disneyland Paris from Marne-la-Vallée station or the guest parking area. For more than 20 years, the tower proudly displayed the park’s name, but since early December 2025, that signage has been removed.

This change is part of the preparation for the official name change in March 2026, when the park’s major expansion opens with new areas like Adventure Way, Adventure Bay, and World of Frozen.

When Walt Disney Studios Park first opened in 2002, it focused on giving guests a behind-the-scenes look at movie and TV production. Over the years, the park has evolved into a much more immersive experience. Following a €2 billion investment announced in 2018, over 90% of the park is being transformed, and once the expansion is complete, the park will have nearly doubled in size.
Almost all opening-day attractions have been replaced over time, with Flying Carpets Over Agrabah being the main exception.
Not only are new areas being added, but existing areas have also been reimagined. The former STUDIO 1 is now called World Premiere, featuring a brand-new restaurant and shop. Toon Studio and Production Courtyard have also been changed into what is now known as World Premiere Plaza.

The area where The Earffel Tower stands, currently known as Front Lot, appears to be changing the least under the transformation plan. The tower itself is here to stay, but in the near future, the Disney Adventure World name will be added.

Recently, the Walt Disney Studios Park name was also removed from the entrance gates, making way for the new signage that will arrive with the park’s new identity. Seeing these familiar references disappear is definitely a strange sight.

Interestingly, Disney’s Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World once had its own version of the Earffel Tower. Disney eventually chose to demolish it to make room for new themed lands.
Because of the upcoming name change, many merchandise items featuring “Walt Disney Studios Park” have recently been released. Looking ahead, a large new merchandise collection featuring the new name Disney Adventure World is expected to launch in spring 2026.
