Big changes are coming to Disney Sequoia Lodge at Disneyland Paris.
As Disney announced back in April 2025, renovation work at Disney Sequoia Lodge has officially begun. The project will be carried out in several phases, and during our most recent stay at the hotel, the first visible signs of construction were already impossible to miss.

Throughout the hotel, we noticed construction crews preparing different areas, with the most activity taking place on the parking. Several sections were closed off to make room for large construction machinery, which means parking capacity may be more limited than usual.

What’s Changing?
The renovation aims to completely refresh the guest experience while preserving the warm, rustic atmosphere that has defined Disney Sequoia Lodge since it opened in 1992. Everything from the guest rooms and lobby to the shops and restaurants will be reimagined.

Disney’s goal is to introduce a brighter, more modern look, while keeping the signature wooden décor and forest-inspired charm that make the hotel so beloved.
The new design will pay tribute to nature, drawing inspiration from the forests often celebrated in classic Disney animated films.

The hotel will stay open:
This project is also part of a larger transformation across Disneyland Paris. In recent years, Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and the Disneyland Hotel have both been fully reimagined, while Disney Davy Crockett Ranch introduced brand-new cabins. Now, it’s finally Sequoia Lodge’s turn.

Unlike some of the previous hotel renovations, Disney Sequoia Lodge will remain open throughout the entire process. Renovation work will only take place during the day, and all hotel services and activities will continue to be available to guests.
For now, Disney has not shared detailed information about where interior renovations will begin or when the entire project is expected to be completed.
A test corridor was installed in the main building a few years ago, offering a first glimpse of what the refreshed hallways could look like in the future.
