Most of the time, all we hear about Disneyland Paris is prices going up. One moment it’s restaurant prices increasing, then it’s merchandise getting more expensive, followed by ticket and hotel price hikes, or yet another announcement that annual passes are going up again. To the frustration of many fans, it seems like there’s always something becoming more expensive.

But a price drop? That’s something you don’t hear about very often—and yet, it does happen. In fact, it recently did, and most people didn’t even notice it. We did, though. During our most recent visit to Disneyland Paris, we spotted a change to the menu at Au Chalet de la Marionnette in Fantasyland. Two new items were added: the “Burger du Chalet” and the “Hot-Dog du Chalet.”
Because the hot-dog received an upgrade, its price went up by €1, meaning it’s no longer the cheapest menu option like it used to be. As a result, the chicken meal dropped by €1, going from €17 to €16, and is now cheaper than the hot dog.
So if you usually grab chicken and fries at Au Chalet de la Marionnette during your visit to Disneyland Park, you’ll now be paying €1 less than before. Unfortunately for hot dog fans, you’ll be paying €1 more.
