With just 72 days to go until the official opening of World of Frozen at Disneyland Paris, excitement is clearly reaching a peak.
Demand has been so high that all tickets and park reservations for 29 March 2026 are already sold out. At the moment, the only way to guarantee access to the Disney Parks on opening day is by booking a stay at a Disney Hotel.
The expansion of the second park was announced back in 2018 and promised new themed areas built around a large central lake.
While Avengers Campus opened in 2022, it was technically more of a transformation of the former Backlot rather than a true expansion.

After several delays caused by the pandemic, Phase 2 of the project is finally becoming reality, with the arrival of Adventure Way, Adventure Bay, and the highly anticipated World of Frozen.
Disney is also working on a Lion King land and a flying carousel attraction themed to Disney*Pixar UP as future expansion projects.

Alongside the major expansion works, Disney has also been reshaping existing areas, including the former Studio 1, Production Courtyard and Toon Studio, now reimagined as World Premiere (Plaza).

No Extra Magic Time on opening day of Disney Adventure World
Another important update for opening day on 29 March 2026 is that there will be no Extra Magic Time in Disney Adventure World (currently Walt Disney Studios Park). The park will open at 9:30 for all guests due to the expected high attendance.
Extra Magic Time is currently still scheduled as normal in Disneyland Park on that same day.

March 29, 2026 will be a major milestone for the resort. In addition to stepping into Arendelle in World of Frozen, guests will also discover Adventure Way with Raiponce Tangled Spin, The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, and a brand-new nighttime spectacular on Adventure Bay, Disney Cascade of Lights.
Preview days for Disneyland Pass Holders:
Disneyland Paris has also confirmed that special previews will be organised for Disneyland Pass holders ahead of the official opening, but no dates or further details have been shared so far. More information soon.

Access Information of World of Frozen
Just like during the opening of Avengers Campus, Disney will closely monitor capacity during the first weeks and months. Due to the expected high demand, access to World of Frozen may be temporarily regulated to ensure a comfortable experience for everyone visiting the land.
