During our latest visit to Café Hyperion in Discoveryland, we noticed that construction walls have been installed inside the restaurant.
These are located near the ordering kiosks and food pick-up counters, suggesting that some changes are on the way for this quick-service location.
At the moment, it is unclear what the exact scope of the works will be. However, it seems very likely that Disney is preparing to install additional self-service kiosks. Café Hyperion was the first quick-service restaurant at Disneyland Paris to introduce self-service ordering kiosks back in summer 2024, initially as a test.
Since then, the same system has also been rolled out at The Hollywood Gardens Restaurant in Walt Disney Studios Park and at Toad Hall in Fantasyland.

With self-service kiosks, guests can take their time browsing the menu and placing their order before collecting their food at the counter. Guests using a Disneyland Pass or a Meal Plan, however, still need to place their order at a traditional cashier.
Mobile ordering (Click & Collect) on the official Disneyland Paris App is also available at Café Hyperion.
We will keep a close eye on the situation and share updates as soon as more changes become visible at Café Hyperion.
Café Hyperion in Discoveryland
Café Hyperion is a travel-themed quick-service restaurant located in Discoveryland at Disneyland Park. It sits next to Videopolis, where the giant airship Hyperion appears to be docked inside the building. The food counters are designed as ticket booths, where guests can “purchase” tickets for a flight aboard the Hyperion airship.
The menu focuses on classic American-style dishes, including burgers and fries.
