Old furniture from Disney Sequoia Lodge is starting to appear for sale, following the launch of the hotel’s large-scale renovation at Disneyland Paris.
As Disneyland Paris announced back in April 2025, renovation work at Disney Sequoia Lodge has officially begun and will take place in several phases. The goal of this project is to fully refresh all guest rooms and public areas, while preserving the warm, rustic atmosphere that has defined the hotel since its opening in 1992.
Disney has already confirmed that the renewed design will feature a brighter, more modern look, while keeping the signature wooden décor and forest-inspired charm that guests know and love.
A few years ago, a test corridor was installed in the main building, offering an early glimpse of how the updated hallways could look in the future.
This renovation is also part of a much larger transformation across Disneyland Paris. In recent years, Disney Hotel New York – The Art of Marvel and the Disneyland Hotel have both been completely reimagined, while Disney Davy Crockett Ranch introduced brand-new cabins. Now, it is finally Sequoia Lodge’s turn.
Unlike some previous hotel renovations, Disney Sequoia Lodge will remain open throughout the entire project. All renovation work will take place during the day, and all hotel services and activities will continue to be available for guests.
Old furniture for sale
Just like during the renovation of the Disneyland Hotel, when older furniture was sold to Cast Members and via second-hand platforms, the same now seems to be happening with items from Disney Sequoia Lodge.
Fan account DLP Rescue Rangers recently spotted several pieces listed on the French website Leboncoin, including furniture from one of the hotel rooms.
The items included a TV cabinet, a chair, and a bedside table that were previously used in guest rooms. At the time of writing, the bedside table had already been sold.
We also checked Vinted, where a framed artwork from the hotel featuring Bambi, Thumper, and Flower is available for €250.
