A magical royal meeting awaits guests when World of Frozen opens on 29 March 2026 at Disney Adventure World, the newly renamed Walt Disney Studios Park at Disneyland Paris.
This brand-new land will transport visitors straight into the heart of Arendelle, offering not only attractions, dining, and shopping, but also an exclusive character experience found nowhere else.
Among the highlights of the expansion is a unique royal encounter with Anna and Elsa, set inside the magnificent Arendelle Castle. For the occasion, the castle gates will open as the kingdom celebrates the charming Snowflower Festival, inviting guests to attend special private audiences with the beloved royal sisters.

A Castle Filled with Frozen Memories
From the moment guests step inside, the experience is designed to feel like entering a real royal residence. The richly themed waiting area is filled with visual callbacks to Frozen. Visitors may recognize several of the paintings Anna dances past during the song “For the First Time in Forever,” including a playful reinterpretation of Fragonard’s famous artwork The Swing.

Two large family portraits also stand out. One shows Anna and Elsa as children with their parents, while the other depicts the royal sisters as adults, joined by Kristoff, Sven, and Olaf — a touching tribute to how their family has grown.
According to Emma Yeates, Senior Manager, Show Design at Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, the setting plays a key role in the immersion:
“This space helps guests truly feel like they’ve stepped into Arendelle Castle. From the wallpaper to the artwork, we carefully recreated iconic elements from the film and added royal family portraits to bring even more authenticity to the environment.”

Hidden Details for Sharp-Eyed Guests
The royal audience chamber itself is just as richly detailed. A grand painting portraying the coronation of King Agnarr hangs prominently, complete with the royal orb and scepter — symbols later worn by Elsa during her own coronation.
Sharp-eyed visitors may also spot a familiar prop tucked into a corner: the tall clock that young Anna leans against during “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” It’s one of many subtle nods woven into the environment.
“These aren’t the only hidden references,” Emma Yeates adds. “The entire experience is filled with details inspired by the world of Frozen — and even a few surprises beyond that. Guests will want to keep their eyes open.”
