Ground resurfacing works are currently underway near Disney Hotel Cheyenne at Disneyland Paris.
For several weeks now, the pathway between Disney Hotel Cheyenne and the Rio Grande riverbank has been closed to guests. Major works are taking place in this area, including the complete removal of the old concrete walkway, as Disneyland Paris reshapes and upgrades the ground layout.
During this construction phase, only the first bridge between Disney Hotel Cheyenne and Disney Hotel Santa Fe remains accessible, allowing guests to cross the river while the rest of the area is being worked on.
What’s coming next?
The next phase of the project will focus on:
- Pouring new surfaces
- Installing technical elements such as streetlights and an irrigation system
- Replanting vegetation and greenery once the groundwork is completed

In addition to the pathway works, there’s also a small refurbishment happening at the Chuck Wagon Café. The exterior façade of the restaurant is being refreshed, but this has no impact on restaurant operations and the location remains open to guests.
At this time, Disneyland Paris has not communicated an end date for these works. We’ll keep an eye on the progress and share updates as soon as more information becomes available.
