The statues of Hei Hei and Pua have reappeared in Adventureland at Disneyland Paris. The characters come from the beloved Disney animated film Vaiana (also known as Moana).
The statues were originally added last summer near the spot where Baloo from The Jungle Book often meets guests. They replaced the previous statues of Zazu (The Lion King) and Kaa (The Jungle Book).

Not long after their installation, however, the figures were removed due to damage. Only Maui’s fishhook remained in place, while Hei Hei and Pua were missing.

If the statues look familiar, that’s because they were previously used as a backdrop for a limited-time Vaiana meet & greet inside the former Annual Pass office, which Disney occasionally transforms into a character location.
Now that this Vaiana-themed photo location is complete again, don’t miss the chance to snap a picture here during your next visit!
