The official Disneyland Paris app recently received a new update, including a refreshed map of the French Disney Resort. However, not everyone is happy with the change.

The most noticeable difference? The new map looks less detailed and much flatter than before. A clear example is Phantom Manor and Big Thunder Mountain, which appears significantly simplified compared to the previous version of the map.
On social media, many fans have shared their disappointment, calling the update a downgrade from the older design.

What’s New on the Map?
Besides the visual changes, a few updates have been added to reflect recent developments around the resort.
These include several new permanent security booths, the new McDonald’s location in Disney Village, and an updated layout for World Premiere Plaza.

It’s now also a little easier to find the nearest restroom on the map.
Interestingly, the new areas that are part of the Disney Adventure World expansion, officially opening on March 29, 2026, including World of Frozen have not yet been added to the map.

The rest of the app’s design remains unchanged.
Improvements to Mobile Ordering
The update also brings changes to the Mobile Ordering (Click & Collect) feature on the Disneyland Paris App. A new page has been introduced under the Account section where guests can review active and past mobile orders.
It also appears that guests will now be able to notify the restaurant directly in the app when they’ve arrived. Previously, this had to be done through a link sent by email.

Don’t forget to download the official Disneyland Paris App
If you’re planning a visit to Disneyland Paris, don’t forget to download the official app. It’s essential for checking wait times, booking restaurant reservations, joining virtual queues for character meet-and-greets, and much more.
