Not only will World of Frozen open on March 29, 2026, but guests visiting Disney Adventure World will also be able to enjoy a brand-new family attraction: Raiponce Tangled Spin.
Raiponce Tangled Spin is a tea cup-style family attraction inspired by the magical lantern festival from Tangled. During the ride, guests board beautifully themed gondolas that spin beneath a sky filled with glowing lanterns, surrounded by scenes inspired by the story of Rapunzel.
This attraction is the second Tangled-inspired ride to open at a Disney park, designed to bring to life one of the film’s most iconic moments: the Lantern Festival.
Guests spin in finely sculpted gondolas under glowing lanterns. The ride is accompanied by music from the film, including the beloved song “I See the Light.” In addition, Mandy Moore, the original voice of Rapunzel, recorded special audio announcements.
Because of the glowing lanterns and lighting effects, the ride is especially beautiful to experience in the evening. The attraction is located on Adventure Way, right next to The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge.
Accessibility and ride information
There is no minimum height requirement for Raiponce Tangled Spin, making it suitable for guests of all ages. The attraction is not recommended for expectant mothers.
The ride is also accessible for guests with disabilities, although guests using a wheelchair will need to transfer from their wheelchair into the ride vehicle.
Nearby experiences on Adventure Way
Near the attraction, guests can also find a Rapunzel-themed merchandise kiosk offering themed souvenirs. A small lake nearby even features a boat and lantern inspired by the film, adding to the magical atmosphere of the area.
Adventure Way will continue to grow in the coming years. Disney is currently building another attraction nearby: a flying carousel inspired by the Disney•Pixar film Up, which is expected to open around 2027 in Disney Adventure World.
