Earlier in 2026, we reported that construction walls had appeared inside Café Hyperion in Discoveryland for an unknown project. In mid-February, Disneyland Paris confirmed that the work was related to the installation of new self-service ordering kiosks in the restaurant.
The construction walls have now been removed, and the new kiosks are officially in use.

A design Inspired by Discoveryland
The new ordering stations are very similar to the ones installed at Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, another burger-style quick-service restaurant. Multiple kiosks are placed on a large table accessible from both sides, allowing several guests to place their orders at the same time.
To better match the theme of Discoveryland, the kiosks at Café Hyperion feature a special design created by Walt Disney Imagineering Paris, inspired by the restaurant’s retro-futuristic architecture.

How the system works
Guests can now place and pay for their orders directly at the kiosk using the payment terminal. After paying, they receive a receipt with an order number. When the number appears on the screen, the order can be picked up at the counter.

Kiosks expanding across the parks
Café Hyperion was the first quick-service restaurant in the Disney Parks at Disneyland Paris to receive self-service kiosks. Since then, the system has also been introduced in several other restaurants, including:
- Toad Hall Restaurant (Fantasyland, Disneyland Park)
- Hollywood Gardens Restaurant (World Premiere, Disney Adventure World)
- Nordic Crowns Tavern (World of Frozen, Disney Adventure World)
In some of these locations, guests can also order food in advance using the Mobile Ordering (Click & Collect) feature in the official Disneyland Paris App.

Later in summer 2026, self-service kiosks will also be installed at Casa de Coco – Restaurante de Familia.
Another recent improvement is that Disneyland Pass holders can now scan their pass directly at the kiosks to receive their discount. This means annual passholders no longer need to go to a traditional register to apply their discount, although the regular counters are still available for guests who prefer them.
