On March 28, 2026, the very last day of Walt Disney Studios Park, Ratatouille: The Adventure officially reopened after a long refurbishment that began in October 2025.
During the closure, nearby locations like Bistrot Chez Rémy and Chez Marianne – Souvenirs de Paris remained open for guests.

What changed?
One of the most noticeable updates can be found in the standby queue, where a brand-new “artist workshop” scene has been added. This replaces the former 3D glasses distribution area. The Single Rider and Disney Premier Access queues remain unchanged.

Even before the refurbishment, the attraction was no longer presented in 3D, and that hasn’t changed. However, the overall experience has been improved:
- The 2D projections now look sharper and clearer
- Additional props and panels have been added to better blend the screens into the physical sets
- A new projection effect has been introduced just before the final scenes

These updates help make the ride feel more cohesive, even without the 3D element.

Disney Adventure World
The attraction is located in the Worlds of Pixar area, which will soon be part of Disney Adventure World as of March 29, 2026.
Originally opened in 2014 at Disneyland Paris, a second version of the Ratatouille attraction later debuted at Walt Disney World in 2021. Today, both versions are now permanently presented in 2D.
With these updates, Ratatouille: The Adventure is ready to welcome guests again, just in time for a brand-new era of the park.
