A major transformation is currently taking place at Plaza Gardens Restaurant, marking the start of an exciting new chapter. As of April 2026, Plaza Gardens has closed for an extensive refurbishment that is expected to last until early 2027.
Located on Main Street, U.S.A.® in Disneyland Park, the popular Victorian-style venue will undergo a complete upgrade. This includes major work on the flooring, exterior facades, and roofing. The goal is not only to modernize the space but also to enhance the overall guest experience while staying true to the restaurant’s classic charm.
The redesign will introduce a refreshed color scheme inspired by nature, with different shades of green reflecting the surrounding gardens and changing seasons. Inside, guests can expect a brighter and more elegant setting, featuring updated materials such as pastel green tiles and new carpeting with floral patterns. The seating area will also be improved, with nearly 300 chairs refurbished and redesigned banquettes to provide greater comfort.

The buffet area is set to become more family-friendly, with decorative wooden details, a lower buffet designed for children, and new furniture tailored for breakfast service. These changes aim to create a more welcoming environment for guests of all ages.
Attention is being paid to even the smallest details. Original elements like the stained-glass canopies will be carefully restored, while lighting fixtures will be upgraded with LED technology to provide a warm and energy-efficient atmosphere.
When Plaza Gardens restaurants reopens in 2027, it promises to deliver a refreshed yet familiar experience, combining modern comfort with the timeless elegance that guests have always loved. More updates about the renovation are expected in the coming months.
