Before the brand-new World of Frozen area opened at Disney Adventure World in Disneyland Paris, it was clearly announced: Annual Pass holders would not receive discounts on the merchandise for one year after opening. This restriction also applies to merchandise from the Disney Adventure World collection.

So what’s the deal?
The key lies in how the merchandise is categorized.
Inside the shops, you’ll find information signs explaining that no discount is given on items from the official “World of Frozen” collection. These products are easy to identify as they come with a blue colored price tag.

Not all Frozen merchandise is excluded
But here’s where it gets interesting…. They also sell other Frozen-themed items that are not part of the exclusive World of Frozen collection. These products:
- Have a standard grey price tag
- Are part of the general merchandise lineup at Disneyland Paris
- Do qualify for Annual Pass discounts
This means that even if an item features Elsa, Anna, or Olaf, it doesn’t automatically fall under the no-discount rule.

What should you do?
When shopping:
- Check the price tag carefully
- Colored tag = no discount
- Grey tag = discount applies
- Always present your Annual Pass at checkout
- Don’t hesitate to try—even Cast Members may not always be fully certain about specific items
Some visitors have already experienced situations where discounts were applied despite initial uncertainty at the register.

Final tip
If you’re planning a shopping spree in World of Frozen, don’t assume everything is excluded. A quick look at the price tag can make a real difference—and potentially save you money. This also applies to the new Rapunzel merchandise sold in the small shop near the attraction. All of these items are eligible for discounts and are therefore not affected by the no-discount rule for the World of Frozen or Disney Adventure World collections.
