Construction work is moving ahead at Annette’s Diner in Disney Village at Disneyland Paris.
The popular 1950s-style diner closed in January 2026 for a complete reimagining project that will expand the kitchens and fully refurbish the dining room. Guests can expect new flooring, updated furniture, and a refreshed interior while still keeping the restaurant’s classic retro atmosphere.
Recently, scaffolding has started going up around the restaurant’s facade following a reworking of the surrounding pavement area.

Several windows have also been removed, while demolition work and additional scaffolding installation continue across the construction site.

At the back of the building, earthworks have now been completed for a brand-new technical support building connected to the restaurant.

Unlike several other recent refurbishments in Disney Village, Annette’s Diner will continue to keep its iconic retro American 1950s theme. Disney is, however, redesigning several classic elements inside the restaurant.
The new bar area will feature a layout inspired by the shiny chrome style of traditional American diners, while the booths will take inspiration from 1950s car seats with pastel colors such as pink, blue, and vanilla yellow.

Once Annette’s Diner reopens, it will offer slightly more seating capacity while continuing to celebrate the spirit of 1950s America and the golden age of Rock ’n’ Roll.
For now, Disneyland Paris has not officially confirmed when Annette’s Diner will reopen, though it currently looks likely that the restaurant will return sometime in 2027.

Disney Village 2.0
Meanwhile, the Disney Village transformation continues with the conversion of the Disney Store into Disney Wonders and the construction of Casa Giulia, a brand-new Italian restaurant scheduled to open in late 2026.

McDonald’s France & Disney recently also demolished the former McDonald’s building located next to the resort’s brand-new McDonald’s location.
