New signage has now been installed at Disney Village for the upcoming Pelé Soccer store, which is set to open in late May 2026 nearby the Sports Bar & Lounge.
So far, Disneyland Paris has not announced an exact opening date for the new Pelé Soccer shop, but we’ll share more information as soon as additional details are revealed.
The new store will be fully dedicated to the world of football and will become the very first Pelé Soccer location in Europe. The concept already exists at Disney Springs in Florida and Downtown Disney in California at the American Disney Resorts.
Guests can expect a large selection of football merchandise, including exclusive football shirts, accessories, vintage-inspired items, and more. With the Sports Bar & Lounge located right next door, the location feels like a perfect fit for this type of store.
Interestingly, the new shop also brings back memories of the old Festival Disney era, when Disney Village had a sports-themed retail location before it eventually became Disney Fashion, today known as Disney Style.
The location itself has had several uses over the years. It operated as a video-game arcade and was more recently used as the temporary LEGO Store during the renovation of the permanent LEGO Store. The space is located next to the main restrooms in Disney Village.
The arrival of Pelé Soccer is another step forward in the ongoing transformation of Disney Village, which continues evolving into a more modern and cohesive entertainment district. Several new projects are currently underway, including Casa Giulia, a brand-new Italian restaurant opening in late 2026.
Next to the new Pelé Soccer shop and the recently reimagined Sports Bar & Lounge, teams are also continuing work on transforming the Disney Store into Disney Wonders, which Disneyland Paris currently expects to open in late summer 2026.
