Fantasyland at Disneyland Park is looking better again as the extensive roof refurbishment at Les Voyages de Pinocchio has officially been completed.
After months of construction work, all scaffolding surrounding the classic dark ride has now been fully removed. The large construction structures disappeared first, while temporary safety walls remained in place for a little longer. Those final barriers have now also been taken away, allowing guests to fully enjoy the restored Fantasyland façades once again.

The renovation mainly focused on the attraction’s rooftops, which have been completely rebuilt and refreshed. For years, protective safety nets covered large sections of the roofs due to deteriorating roof tiles and falling debris concerns. Today, the newly restored tiles look vibrant gain, bringing back much of the area’s original charm.
One particularly notable return is the small clock tower above the entrance of Les Voyages de Pinocchio, which has finally reappeared after being absent for more than a decade. Its restoration significantly improves the iconic look of the façade and restores an important architectural detail long missed by fans.

While the roofs received major attention, the façades themselves were not extensively repainted during the project. This is especially noticeable near La Bottega di Geppetto, where older paintwork remains visible. A similar approach was previously seen during the refurbishment of Sir Mickey’s Boutique, where the giant beanstalk also did not receive a full repaint despite the large-scale renovation work.

Construction activity has now shifted next door to Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains and its adjacent shop, La Chaumière des Sept Nains. Following those projects, refurbishment work is still expected for Auberge de Cendrillon. Interestingly, despite its roofs being among the most weathered in Fantasyland, that location appears to be scheduled later in the overall refurbishment timeline.
Meanwhile, protective safety netting has recently appeared on the rooftops of Peter Pan’s Flight as well. This strongly suggests another lengthy roof refurbishment project could begin there in the coming years, likely bringing more scaffolding back to Fantasyland.
With the completion of works on Les Voyages de Pinocchio, Disneyland Paris has now refurbished the roofs of several major Fantasyland locations, including La Confiserie des Trois Fées, Sir Mickey’s Boutique, and Au Chalet de la Marionnette. As a result, the largest phase of Fantasyland’s ongoing roof restoration now appears to be largely complete.
