During our latest visit to Adventureland, we spotted Vaiana meeting guests near Restaurant Hakuna Matata at the small meet & greet location in the area.
At the time of writing, there is currently no information on the official Disneyland Paris app or website about the exact appearance times for Vaiana in Adventureland. The sign at the meet & greet location simply says “Meet a Disney Character.”
During our visit, we did notice that a Disney PhotoPass photographer arrived at the location around 15:30 (3:30 PM), and about five minutes later Vaiana also appeared for the meet & greet.
Interestingly, this Disney Princess actually has two different names depending on the region. In Europe, the character is mostly known as Vaiana, while internationally she is called Moana. When guests ask her about this during the meet & greet, the character even explains that her name is Moana on her island and Vaiana when she is traveling.
This is not the first time guests have been able to meet Vaiana at Disneyland Paris. Visitors have occasionally also been able to meet her inside the Princess Pavilion in Fantasyland.
Last year, the character was also featured during the Disney Music Festival in the show “Vaiana and her Musicians” in Adventureland.
Disney Princess Cavalcade in Disney Adventure World:
Starting July 24, 2026, she will also appear in the brand-new Disney Princess Cavalcade debuting in Disney Adventure World. She will join Raya and two other adventurous Disney Princesses during this new entertainment offering.
For now, it remains unclear whether Vaiana will continue meeting guests regularly in Adventureland once the new cavalcade begins later this summer.
