With the release of Toy Story 5 just around the corner, Woody and Jessie will soon be moving to a new meet & greet location at Disneyland Paris.
Guests can currently meet the popular Toy Story duo at the Pixar meet & greet location in Worlds of Pixar near Crush’s Coaster. However, starting June 17, 2026, Woody and Jessie are expected to begin meeting guests inside Character Spotlight at Animation Celebration.
Earlier this year, this location was home to Olaf from Disney’s Frozen. Following the opening of World of Frozen, Disneyland Paris replaced Olaf with Nick Wilde from Zootopia (Zootropolis).
Now, to celebrate the release of Toy Story 5, Woody and Jessie will be taking over the location from Nick Wilde beginning on the movie’s release date.
In the American Disney Parks, Woody and Jessie will also debut updated looks for the Toy Story 5 promotion. Woody will wear a stylish bandana poncho, while Jessie will receive a shiny new sheriff’s badge. It is very likely that Disneyland Paris will also introduce these updated looks.
At the time of writing, it is still unclear whether the meet & greet will use a traditional standby queue or the virtual queue system through the official Disneyland Paris app. Character Spotlight usually operates with a virtual queue. For now, Disneyland Paris has not announced which Pixar characters will replace Woody and Jessie at the current Worlds of Pixar meet & greet location.

Toy Story fans will also have more to look forward to this summer. A special Pizza Planet Truck Scavenger Hunt is expected to arrive in Worlds of Pixar to help celebrate the release of Toy Story 5.
Additional Toy Story-themed food and beverage offerings are also expected to be available for a limited time.
Guests can already see Woody, Jessie, and several other Toy Story characters on stage during TOGETHER: A Pixar Musical Adventure at Studio Theater in Disney Adventure World.
