The major renovation project to refresh the rooftops across Fantasyland is continuing in Disneyland Park!
We recently reported that the refurbishment of the Les Voyages de Pinocchio facade had been completed, and now another part of Fantasyland is starting to look fresh again. The scaffolding at La Chaumière des Sept Nains is now coming down, revealing newly replaced roof tiles.
This is an important step for the area, as several rooftops in Fantasyland have needed safety nets in recent years. Disneyland Paris now seems to be solving this issue through a full renovation project, carried out in different phases.
Scaffolding first went up at La Chaumière des Sept Nains earlier this year in January. While the construction walls and scaffolding have not been fully removed yet, the work on the roof itself appears to be complete.
It will be interesting to see if Disneyland Paris also used this refurbishment to restore the boutique’s shop windows. For some reason, the windows have not really been used as proper displays for a very long time and have remained covered.
While this long-running renovation project seems to be getting closer to the finish line, there is still more work to be done. The next major area that needs attention is the facade and roof of Blanche-Neige et les Sept Nains.
The classic Snow White dark ride has been closed since March 30, 2026, and its reopening has already been delayed twice. However, we are finally seeing some visible activity behind the construction fences, with teams now installing scaffolding on the front of the facade as part of the wider Fantasyland renovation project.
The attraction is currently scheduled to reopen on July 28, 2026. If this date does not change again, the refurbishment will have lasted almost four months by the time guests can ride again.
So far, Disneyland Paris has not shared any official details about the work being carried out during the closure.
There is also still no additional information about the full scope of the Fantasyland renovation project. If Disneyland Paris plans to restore all the facades and rooftops in the area, then Peter Pan’s Flight and a small section of Auberge de Cendrillon near the Cinderella Fountain could still need attention. That part of the roof currently appears to be in the worst condition.
Only time will tell how this project will continue, but we will keep following the latest updates on the current and future renovation works across Fantasyland.
