Good news for Disneyland Railroad fans: Fantasyland Station will reopen on September 1, 2026.
Over the past few months, Fantasyland Station and Meet Mickey Mouse have undergone a major renovation. Construction walls have recently been removed, revealing refreshed landscaping and improvements throughout the area.
In recent years, Fantasyland Station was rarely used, much like Discoveryland Station near Star Tours. Both stations typically only reopened when one of the other Disneyland Railroad stations was temporarily closed.
However, despite the reopening of Fantasyland Station, only two stations will be operating from September 1 onward. That’s because Frontierland Station is scheduled to close for refurbishment on the very same day.
From September 1 through September 6, both Main Street Station and Fantasyland Station will operate from 12:15 PM until 7:45 PM.
Starting September 7, the operating hours will change, with both stations open daily from 9:30 AM until 5:00 PM.
At the moment, Disneyland Paris has not yet published operating hours for October and the months beyond.
While it’s great to see Fantasyland Station reopening, it’s still a little disappointing that Disneyland Paris has not returned to operating all four Disneyland Railroad stations at the same time.
Many years ago, guests could usually board the train from Main Street, Frontierland, Fantasyland, and Discoveryland. Since the pandemic, the resort has generally operated fewer stations, likely as a cost-saving measure.
On the positive side, reduced station operations have sometimes made it slightly easier to board the train.
